New Delhi: After making its theatrical premiere about two months ago, Rajkummar Rao's biopic 'Srikanth' will soon be available on the streaming platforms. On July 5, 2024, after its initial May premiere, the film will be made accessible on Netflix. This touching biography follows the inspiring journey of Srikanth Bolla, founder of Bollant Industries and an entrepreneur who overcame his eyesight disability. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film saw moderate success at the box office.

The biopic ‘Srikanth’ follows the life of Bollant Industries' visionary creator, Srikanth Bolla, who is visually challenged. In the film, Rajkummar Rao brings Srikanth's motivational journey to life. Alaya F portrays Srikanth's lover, Veera Swati, while Jyothika plays his instructor.
Jameel Khan portrays APJ Abdul Kalam, while Sharad Kelkar has a significant role as well. The film chronicles Srikanth Bolla's ups and downs as an entrepreneur, showcasing his tenacity and enthusiasm.

Upon its May 10th release, critics and audiences alike were blown away. ‘Srikanth’ earned a net of Rs 11.95 crore on its first weekend in India. The film's success at the box office has been maintained by rave reviews and enthusiastic word of mouth. Total earnings for the film as of June 17, 2024, were Rs 62.92 crore, with Rs 59.58 crore coming from India and Rs 3.34 crore from worldwide.
