The latter has been part of the Netflix series since it started, while Delhi-based Shalini joined in the third season and quickly became a fan favorite. Unfortunately, as with past seasons, this one has also faced its share of social media trolls targeting them.

A Reddit user pointed out a remark on a video shared by Shalini, featuring Maheep. In the Instagram clip posted a week ago, someone commented, “Maheep is a sasti copy of pretentious didi who just landed in Canada with a new found accent.” Another user agreed with this comment.

Shalini responded to the comments with a heart emoji, leaving her reaction somewhat ambiguous. However, several fans of the show interpreted it as Shalini's way of transforming a negative comment into a positive one.
