Ajaz Khan's Reality Show 'House Arrest' Pulled From Ullu Amid Outrage Over Explicit Content
'House Arrest', hosted by actor Ajaz Khan, was recently taken down from streaming platform Ullu following a wave of public outrage over its explicit content.

New Delhi: Following an upsurge of complaints over sexually explicit material and accusations of coercion against female participants, Ullu has removed its controversial reality show 'House Arrest' from streaming. The decision is a response to a video clip that went viral from the program. In it, former 'Bigg Boss' competitor and presenter Ajaz Khan was seen forcing female candidates to engage in sexually explicit behaviours on camera, even though they were clearly uncomfortable and objected.
Confirming the show's removal from the platform, a search for "House Arrest" on Friday on the Ullu app produced no results. The show, which debuted on April 11, was billed as an unfiltered spin on captive reality shows.
Maharashtra BJP Woman Demands Ban on ‘House Arrest’
Chitra Wagh, head of the Maharashtra BJP Mahila Morcha, has joined the rising chorus of people opposing Ajaz Khan's controversial reality show House Arrest, calling it “nothing but the epitome of vulgarity” and urging for an immediate ban.
She shared a video from the program on X (previously Twitter), in which Ajaz Khan is seen urging candidates to play out obscene scenarios and having sexually provocative chats with them.
An FIR has reportedly been lodged against host Ajaz Khan in connection with the controversial reality show.
'House Arrest' featured a cast of actresses including Gehna Vashisht, Nehal Vadoliya, Abha Paul, Humeira Sheikh, Sarika Salunke, Muskaan Agarwal, Ritu Rai, Ayushi Bhowmik, Simran Kaur, Jonita D'Cruz, and Naina Chabbra. Among the male participants were newcomers Rahul Bhoj, Sankalp Soni, and Akshay Upadhyay.
Many people have taken to social media to demand an explanation or apology after the program was criticised for glorifying sexually explicit content in a manner that was meant to be entertaining.
