Usually known for keeping it cool and quiet, Ajay Devgn turned up the heat and the humour in the latest promo of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'. The actor, often dubbed Bollywood’s man of few words, was unusually chatty and cheeky as he unleashed a flurry of witty punches at everyone from host Kapil Sharma to Navjot Singh Sidhu and his 'Son of Sardaar 2' co-star, Ravi Kishan.
Netflix dropped the teaser on Thursday, giving fans a peek at the upcoming episode that also features Vindu Dara Singh, Mrunal Thakur, and the usual suspects - Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Navjot Singh Sidhu - alongside Kapil.
The clip opens with Kapil reading out a fan letter addressed to Ajay. “Gangaram Ji from Bhilai has written, ‘Ajay sir, your Golmaal and Dhamaal series are comedy gold. You’re so funny in films, but why do you look so serious on comedy shows?’”
Ajay, with his trademark deadpan delivery, fired back, “Please tell Gangaram Ji, I earn pay cheque for the films I do. When I show up here (Kapil’s show), you are the one cashing in!” — leaving the audience and the cast howling with laughter.

Next in line was Sidhu, who was roasted for his many career hats — cricket, politics, and television. Ajay joked, “Sidhu paaji ne ek rumaal cricket mein dali hai, ek rumaal politics mein aur yaha toh puri chadar hai,” earning big laughs from the set.
Ajay pulls Ravi Kishan's leg
Ravi Kishan too wasn’t spared. After Kapil teased him for reportedly touching his wife’s feet before bed, Mrunal Thakur reacted with an “Aww.” But before Ravi could speak, Ajay interrupted with a zinger: “The guiltier a man is, the more he touches his wife’s feet.”
He didn’t stop there. Taking a jibe at Ravi’s political avatar, Ajay added, “Neta ke haath mein mic nahi dena chahiye. Tune iske mooh mein laga diya hai.” The comment sent Ravi into fits of laughter as he jumped out of his seat.

Even Kapil’s weight loss journey became a target for Ajay’s sharp humour. “Log weight lose karte hai. Tune itna kar liya hai ki tere naak pe bhi weight lose hogaya hai,” he said. To which Kapil responded with a laugh, “Ajay sir aaj front foot par khel rahe hai.”
The upcoming episode, featuring the team of 'Son of Sardaar 2', is set to premiere this Saturday at 8 PM on Netflix. From the looks of it, viewers can expect a riot of laughter, unexpected moments, and a very unfiltered Ajay Devgn stealing the spotlight.
