On Prabhas' Birthday, Makers Share New Posters of His Films; 'Adipurush' & 'Project K'

Today, on the occasion of Prabhas's birthday, the makers have unveiled a new poster of the actor on social media, with Prabhas sharing the poster on his Instagram handle.

New Delhi: Movies based on mythological and science-fiction stories have their own set of expectations from the audience, and so is the case for the upcoming Prabhas-starring movie 'Adipurush'. This movie directed by Om Raut is based on the Ramayana and also features Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in the lead. Produced by T-Series Films and Retrophile, it is all set to hit the theatres on January 12, 2023, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. 

Today, on the occasion of Prabhas's birthday, the makers have unveiled a new poster of the actor on social media, with Prabhas sharing the poster on his Instagram handle. Besides that of 'Adipurush', makers also shared the poster of 'Project K'.

In the 'Adipurush' poster, Prabhas can be seen portraying Lord Ram. Along with the post, the actor wrote "Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shree Ram." as the caption. He also mentioned the date on which the movie is set to release stating, "Adipurush releases IN THEATRES on January 12, 2023, in IMAX & 3D!"

In the poster, Prabhas was seen walking on Ram Setu wearing a saffron vest and white dhoti, with his army trailing behind him. The character poster reflected his divinity and god-like aura.

Fans were overjoyed to see the new Adipurush poster and flooded Prabhas' Instagram post with compliments. While many people wrote "Jai Shri Ram" in the comments section, others simply wished him a Happy Birthday.

Meawhile, Prabhas took to his official Twitter handle to share 'Project K's poster in which he stars alongside Deepika Padukone. In the poster, we see an gloved hand break something as glass shreds surround it. The poster also bears a tagline which reads 'Heroes are not boren, they rise'. Take a look.

 

On October 2, fans and media were treated to a teaser for 'Adipurush'. The film has a massive budget of Rs. 500 crores, making it one of the most expensive Indian movies ever made and has huge expectations from the audience. However, the teaser was not well-received by the audience and it received huge trolling for the VFX.

The story of Adipurush is based on Raghava (Prabhas) who travels to Lanka with his sena, which includes Laxman and Hanuman, to rescue his wife Janaki (Kriti Sanon), who has been kidnapped by Lankesh (Saif Ali Khan).
