Naga Chaitanya Smiles When Quizzed About Rumoured Girlfriend Sobhita Dhulipala

New Delhi: Naga Chaitanya, who is making his Bollywood debut with ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, separated from his wife Samantha Prabhu last year. There have been rumours of him dating actress Sobhita Dhulipala for quite some time.
In a recent interview, when the actor was asked to react to her name, he blushed and laughed. During a chat with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Chaitanya was asked about Sobhita, he at first laughed and then said, "I'm just gonna smile." He was also asked about his celebrity crush during the interview and he replied, “I have grown up crushing on Katrina Kaif.”
In June, there were reports stating that Samantha’s PR team was supposedly planting baseless rumours about Chaitanya and Shobhita and the actor’s fans are upset with Samantha’s team. She reacted to the news report by tweeting, “Rumours on girl - Must be true! Rumours on boy - Planted by girl! Grow up guys. Parties involved have clearly moved on... you should move on too! Concentrate on your work… on your families... move on.”
Chaitanya and Samantha ended their four-year-long marriage in October last year.
The actor also spoke about rumours about his equation with Samantha and his personal life in another interview. He told ETimes that he has moved on and so has Samantha. "I come out, tell the people about it through a statement and that’s it. In our case, Samantha has moved on, I've moved on and I don't feel the need to inform the world about it, more than that," he was quoted as saying by ETimes.
On the work front, Naga will be making his Bollywood debut in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which is slated to release on August 11, 2022. Directed by Advait Chandan, 'Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an official Hindi adaptation of the Academy Award-winning 1994 film ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks.
