Shah Rukh Khan And Deepika Padukone To Come Together For Siddharth Anand’s Next: Reports

Based on reports, the movie will be starring Deepika in an action-packed role opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Siddharth Anand’s film will be produced by Yash Raj Films and reportedly, the ‘Chhapaak’ actress has loved the script. Read the full details here.

There is no stopping for the leading lady of Bollywood Deepika Padukone even during the period of lockdown. Just recently an announcement has been made that the ‘Padmaavat’ actress and the ‘Baahubali’ star will be collaborating and sharing the big screen for the very first time in Prabhas’ 21^st film. The Nag Ashwin’s untitled movie will be releasing in three languages – Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Other than this, the actress has made another announcement – she will be producing the remake of the movie ‘The Intern’ where she will also be essaying the lead role.

 Padukone is all set to make another big announcement next month. However, if reports are to be believed, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress is all set to romance SRK in Siddharth Anand’s next unnamed directorial venture under YRF productions.

A report of Pinkvilla says, “Deepika has locked her dates for a big YRF film. She will mostly be romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand's big actioner. The production house has been in talks with the actress for the film but she is yet to sign on the dotted line. Also, because of the Covid 19 scare around the country, they are yet to lock in dates for the schedules of the film. Once that is done, Deepika will work around her date schedule for the film. Right now, she has just been approached for the film and she has liked the script as well. It's a powerful role for the female lead as well."

"Pre-Covid, the team had planned a huge event to announce all the big films with all the big actors who are starring in it, to commemorate YRF's 50th year celebrations. Deepika and SRK's film with the WAR director will also be announced as part of the YRF 50 announcement list, next month on Yashji's birthday," the report added.

Supposedly, the announcement of the movie will be done during Yash Chopra’s birthday celebrations in a splendid manner.

Deepika Padukone will be next seen co-starring with her husband Ranveer Singh in the movie ‘83’ where the latter will be illustrating the life of cricketer Kapil Dev. Padukone will be seen in the role of the cricketer’s wife.
