Oscars 2017: Here's the complete list of winners
NEW DELHI: The most awaited 89th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles celebrated biggest night of movies.
Justin Timberlake kickstarted the award ceremony with a groovy performance on his Oscar-nominated song "Can't Stop the Feeling" from "Trolls". As Timberlake made it to the stage, he brought everyone to their feet and made them dance to his tunes.
While Casey Affleck bagged the Best Actor Award for 'Manchester By The Sea', Emma Stone walked away with the Oscar for Best Actress Award for 'La La Land'. The ceremony ended with the biggest goof up as 'La La Land' was announced winner of the Best Film instead of 'Moonlight'.
Moonlight won the award for Best Film at the Oscars
'La La Land' took away six golden statuette for best director, best actress, original score, original song, cinematography and production design. While Moonlight won total three awards, Hacksaw Ridge and Manchester By The Sea won two Oscars respectively.
Dev Patel may have lost out the best supporting actor trophy but his "Lion" co-star Sunny Pawar ensured that the film was talked about during the ceremony by chatting up with host Jimmy Kimmel in one of the most adorable moments from the ceremony. Kimmel lifts up young actor as they enacted "The Lion King" at Oscars. Indian actor Om Puri, "Star Wars" actress Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds and Bill Paxton were among late stars, who were remembered and honored at the ceremony.
