New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has filed a petition before the Bombay High Court, requesting the court to quash the FIR registered against her and sister Rangoli Chandel at the Bandra Police station. The Mumbai Police officials have summoned the 'Queen' actress and her sister three times in connection with a sedition case filed against them. Kangana, who was last seen in 'Panga', failed to respond to Mumbai Police's latest summon in which they asked her and Rangoli to appear before the authorities for investigation on November 23 and 24 respectively.
Earlier this month, Kangana Ranaut, in her reply through lawyer Rizwan Siddhiqui, sought time from Mumbai Police till November 15 to appear before the officials for interrogation. She cited her brother Aksht Ranaut's wedding as the reason and said that she won't be able to reach Mumbai due to the celebrations.
