New Delhi: Miss World 1994 Aishwarya Rai made her acting debut with Mani Ratnam’s 1997 film ‘Iruvar’. The first Hindi movie, the Bollywood beauty starred in ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’ that same year. The ‘Guru’ actress then went on to star in several movies like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, ‘Raincoat’ and many more. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has received numerous awards and accolades including the ‘Padma Shri’. She was also honoured by the government of France in 2012 with ‘Ordre des Arts et des Lettres’.
