Shoaib Akhtar Jabs Sehwag: '20 Years of Talking About That Triple Century' — WATCH
Shoaib Akhtar took a playful dig at Virender Sehwag for repeatedly talking about his triple century even after two decades. Watch the viral video below.

Pakistan legendary cricketer Shoaib Akhtar took a jibe at the former India opener Virender Sehwag for constantly bringing up his triple century even after two decades. In an Instagram video, Akhtar said he’s fed up with hearing the same story repeatedly, joking that it feels like listening to the same tape for 20 years. Notably, Virender Sehwag scored 309 off just 375 balls in an India vs Pakistan Test in Multan back in 2004, Pakistan against a star-studded PAK bowling lineup that included Akhtar, Mohammad Sami, Abdul Razzaq and Saqlain Mushtaq.
In the video, Akhtar is referring to a recent advertisement for FWD by Myntra, in which Sehwag keeps boasting about him being a triple-centurion in Test cricket.
Shoaib Akhtar jokes that he could nominate Sehwag for the Guinness Book of World Records for mentioning "300" the most times, adding that he himself already holds a record for bowling the fastest delivery at 161.3 kmph in the video.
Akhtar captioned the video "@fwd vaalo kisi stylish bande ko lena next ad mein (mere DM open hain). Hahaha."
"I saw a video of Viru Paaji. Man, I’m fed up of hearing him talk. It’s the same tape playing for the last 20 years—‘300, 300, 300’. Come on, brother, I was there too when you scored that 300. You played really well, no doubt. But it’s the month of fasting, and one has to control their tongue—so please, stop now. If you want an entry in the Guinness World Records, I can get that done: ‘The person who says 300 the most in the world—Virender Sehwag!’,” Akhtar says in the video.
“If you really want an entry, talk to me. Because I have a real record—you know which one, right?," says Akhtar concluding the video.
