Amar Kaushik, is a name that has become synonymous with the horror-comedy genre in Indian cinema. Born on August 25, 1984, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Kaushik's journey in the film industry began with a passion for storytelling and filmmaking. His rise to fame was swift and decisive, thanks to his innovative approach and clever direction.

Before making his mark as a director, Kaushik honed his skills as an assistant director on films like 'Go Goa Gone' (2013) and 'A Flying Jatt' (2016). 

Breakthrough with Stree (2018)

Kaushik's directorial debut, 'Stree', released in 2018, was a game-changer in the horror-comedy genre. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film's massive success established Kaushik as a prominent director in Bollywood.
