'Baahubali 2' team cancels premiere post Vinod Khanna's demise

NEW DELHI: Indian film industry was gearing up to witness grand premiere of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' but sudden demise of veteran actor Vinod Khanna sent shockwaves across the nation. Deeply saddened Karan Johar, SS Rajamouli and the entire team of 'Baahubali' have decided to cancel the premiere which was scheduled to be held Thursday evening. Karan Johar took to Twitter to inform the news. "As a mark of respect to our beloved Vinod Khanna the entire team of Baahubali has decided to cancel the premiere tonight..." he wrote.   Earlier in a tweet, the ace filmmaker paid his tribute to the legendary actor. "His screen presence is unparalleled even today...his super star swag is what we grew up on....RIP ...thoughts and prayers...." Karan tweeted.   Vinod Khanna who breathed his last at 11. 20 am succumbed to advanced bladder carcinoma at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital.
