Alia Bhatt has applauded Sidharth and Kiara’s performance in ‘Shershaah’. The ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress also shared a special note for her rumored ex-boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra.

New Delhi: Sidharth Malhotra released his much-anticipated movie ‘Shershaah’ ahead of India’s 75th Independence Day. ‘Shershaah’, which is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Indian Army Captain Vikram Batra, has been well received by the audience. Touted to be one of the best performances by Sidharth Malhotra in his Bollywood career, the movie received good reviews from critics.

Many celebrities from the industry lauded the ‘Mission Majnu’ actor’s performance in the movie and also appreciated his leading lady Kiara Advani’s performance as Dimple Cheema. Now, Alia Bhatt has also applauded Sidharth and Kiara’s performance in ‘Shershaah’. The ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress also shared a special note for her rumoured ex-boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra.

Alia shared a post on her Instagram story and wrote, “Must must must watch! This film made me laugh and cry and everything more. @sidmalhotra you were too too special yaa! So so moving! And @kiaraaliaadvani my beautiful, you really just shine right through! Congratulations to the whole team and the entire cast. Such a lovely film!”

On a related note, earlier today, the makers of ‘Shershaah’ also released a special song ‘Mann Bharrya 2.0’ sung by B Praak starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. The original song, crooned by B Praak himself, ruled the chartbusters when it was released back in 2017.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will be next seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Thank God’ alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. He will also be featuring opposite Rashmika Mandanna in her debut Bollywood movie ‘Mission Majnu’.
