Akshay Kumar’s ‘BellBottom’ To Premiere On Amazon Prime Video On This Date!
After releasing the movie in theatres, ‘BellBottom’ is now all set to premiere on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
New Delhi: Akshay Kumar’s ‘BellBottom’ is amongst the first big-budget movies to release in theatres. Based on real-life events, this movie was released on the big screens on August 19, 2021. Now, after releasing the movie in theatres, ‘BellBottom’ is now all set to premiere on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The movie will start premiering on the OTT platform on September 16, 2021.
Akshay Kumar shared the update on his social media and wrote, “BellBottom Out On Prime Date aap yaad rakhna, mission hum yaad dila denge. #BellBottomOutOnPrime, releases September 16.”
On a related note, Akshay Kumar lost his mother earlier this week. The actor, who was shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Cinderella’ in UK. The actor immediately flew back from the country to be with his ailing mother in Mumbai after his mother Aruna Bhatia got admitted in the hospital. However, his mother passed away, unfortunately.
The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor penned down a heartfelt note for his mother after her passing away and wrote, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti”.
Other than Akshay Kumar, ‘BellBottom’ also stars Lara Dutta, Adil Hussain, Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor, Aniruddh Dave and others, in pivotal roles. Helmed by Ranjit M. Tewari, this movie is receiving good reviews from both the critics and the audience. Lara Dutta’s performance as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi has also been well-received by the audience.
