Jaya Bachchan Testes Positive For Covid-19

Jaya Bachchan has been found corona infected, her report came positive on 31 January. After which she is in home isolation.

Jaya Bachchan has tested positive for Covid-19, the veteran actress is in quarantine right now. A BMC official confirmed: "Today is the 5th day since Jaya Bachchan tested covid positive."

Recently, Shabana Azmi had also revealed that she had tested positive for Covid-19 and is in isolation at home. Shabana shared the news via her social media. She wrote, "Have tested positive for Covid today. Have isolated myself at home and request all those who were in close contact with me to please get tested".

Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi were shooting for Karan Johar's film Rocky and Rani's love story in Delhi. Reports suggested that the shoot of Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ was postponed after Jaya Bachchan got infected. The filming of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was halted soon after Jaya Bachchan's Covid news was viral. The filming of the next schedule in Delhi has been rescheduled. This movie will be marked as Karan Johar's return to directing after a 5-year absence.

Earlier in 2020, the entire Bachchan family including Amitabh, son Abhishek, and daughter-in-law Aishwarya had tested positive with the virus.
