Priya uploaded an Instagram photo of her and her husband carrying baby shoes with the sticker ‘It’s a boy’. In December 2022, the pair surprised fans by announcing that they were expecting a child after being married for 8 years.
The pair took to social media to announce their exciting news, writing, "There’s no feeling in the world like this And just like that our baby boy is here! A new exciting adventure of parenthood starts today! Grateful. Happy. Blessed."

The birth of Atlee and Priya's son cause excitement for their fans. Actress Kajal Aggarwal wished the couple and wrote, "Bigggg congratulations!!! He broke barriers to become India’s biggest filmmaker with Bigil, being the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2019. Atlee’s first Bollywood project, Jawan', which is going to be one of the biggest films of Indian cinema is set to release next year starring Shah Rukh Khan.
In 2014, Atlee married actress Krishna Priya after years of love. They aspired together to start a production house “A for Apple Production” and successfully produced two films under their banner.
