When ABP News contacted him about this problem Gulshan Devaiah said that he is very upset with his fan. The ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela’ actor told, “I respect my fans and their feelings a lot. It is not a big deal to meet them. But now the water has passed the limit. A fan of mine reaches everywhere, even where he should not be. He knows everything about me that he should not know. This particular thing has been troubling me for a long time. Keeping in mind the situation, I have now decided that I will not tolerate it anymore. This is the reason I have given him a warning on Twitter.”

Gulshan Devaiah also took to his Instagram account and shared a long note of warning. The note read, “I have a fan, who's identity I will protect for now, who doesn't understand boundaries despite me sincerely & repeatedly requesting that person to do so. I feel a bit annoyed & a bit threatened as well for myself, my cats, friends & family because that person seems to know a lot about me than I'm comfortable. I'm very friendly, approachable & will mostly always oblige requests to take a picture or chat a bit but ..but this is going a bit beyond my patience level. You know who you are ! I appeal to you sincerely!! Please Please Please DON'T do anything stupid because I am not going to sit quietly after that. There will be consequences. God bless you.”

When asked by ABP News about the identity of the fan who harassed him, he said, “At the moment I do not want to make that person's identity public. I want to keep the matter limited to warnings but one thing is certain, now I will not tolerate this madness.”

Will you complain about this matter to the Mumbai Police or have you thought about doing so?

“I am not going to complain to the police at this very moment. I will just wait and watch. I want that person to understand me with love. And if he still did not understand and does such a thing, then the result will not be good.”

Despite being asked by ABP News, Gulshan refused to reveal the identity of his eccentric fan, as well as refused to elaborate on all the activities of his fan.
