First Look Poster Of Ajith's 61st Film 'Thunivu' Out

'Thunivu' also marks the third successful collaboration between director Vinoth, actor Ajith and producer Boney Kapoor.

New Delhi: Actor Ajith Kumar's much anticipated first look and title of his 61st film is out. Titled 'Thunivu’, the Tamil film's poster was unveiled by the film' s producers on Wednesday. Producer Boney Kapoor shared the first look poster of the film with its title on his official Twitter handle. Soon after the first look poster of 'Thunivu' was shared, fans shared their excitement on social platforms.Many are claiming that in the film, Ajith Kumar is playing a negative role, while others requested the producers to share more details about the film.

'Thunivu' also marks the third successful collaboration between director Vinoth, actor Ajith and producer Boney Kapoor. Their two previous hits include 'Nerkonda Parvai' and 'Valimai'.

In the first look poster, we see Ajith reclining on a chair with a gun in his hand. The superstar sports glasses and his eyes closed. He also sports a full beard. His shirt is drenched in blood as he takes a rest on the reclining chair. Boney Kapoor shared the poster on his official Twitter handle and captioned it, "#Thunivu #NoGutsNoGlory#AK61FirstLook #AK61."

 

Ajith has resumed shooting for 'Thunivu' after a two-month long biking trip which he took across many countries in Europe. 'Thunivu' also stars Manju Warrier, who also joined Ajith;s in his biking expedition for a few days. She had shared some pictures on her Twitter handle and captioned them, "Huge thanks to our Super Star Rider Ajith Kumar Sir! Honoured to be joining Adventure Riders India for my first ever two-wheeler road trip! Thank you Ajith Sir for introducing me to @suprej and @sardar_sarfaraz_khan. Thank you Sir! Thank u #bineeshchandra for joining. (sic),” she tweeted.

'Thunivu' is all set to release in theatres during the Pongal festival next year. The film, which will be dubbed and released in Telugu as well, has music by Ghibran.

 Meanwhile, Ajith was last seen in 'Valimai' besides Huma Qureshi and Karthikeya. In the film, he was seen playing the role of a cop who goes after an outlaw biker gang.
