Farmers Protest: Sonu Sood Says ‘How Will You Sleep Peacefully Calling Wrong As Right?’

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who is called the Messiah of migrant workers has recently tweeted about the farmers’ movement. Read on.

New Delhi: The protest of the farmers against the three agricultural laws passed by the Central government has been going for a long time now. While many Bollywood celebrities came out in support of the farmers, now, Hollywood celebrities have also joined the race and showed their support to the farmers. However, some Bollywood celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and others are standing in favour of the government. There has also been an ongoing war on social media regarding the same.

In the wake of all these, Bollywood actor, Sonu Sood, who is called the Messiah of migrant workers has recently tweeted about the farmers’ movement. He took to his Twitter and wrote in Hindi, “How Will You Sleep Peacefully Calling Wrong As Right?”

Netizens believed that this tweet of the ‘Prithviraj’ actor has been done as a touch of sarcasm on the government and his Bollywood colleagues as they are commenting on his post.

One user wrote, “You are absolutely right Bro”.

In support of the farmers' movement, many Hollywood celebs including Rihanna, Mia Khalifa had commented, after which Bollywood celebrities also started commenting on social media. These include Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Kangana Ranaut, Ajay Devgn, Swara Bhasker, Taapsee Pannu and many Bollywood celebrities.

Meanwhile, farmers have been protesting against the three agricultural laws of the Central government on the borders of Delhi NCR. Several rounds of talks have also been held between the farmers' organizations and the government, which have remained fruitless.
