New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan changed the flow of his movie characters with his recent release ‘Dhamaka’. The ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actor who was known for playing ‘boy next door’ characters in his movies, has come out in a totally different avatar in ‘Dhamaka’. Kartik Aaryan played the role of a journalist who interviews a terrorist exclusively who blows up a bridge. Full with drama, emotions and a good story, Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Dhamaka’ has now become the ‘most watched film on digital’. The movie has been watched for 4.8 million hours on Netflix this week.

Kartik Aaryan shared the news on his social media and wrote, “#Dhamaka becomes the most watched film on digital This is huge !! Thank you so much”.

Kartik revealed while promoting the film that ‘Dhamaka’ was completed in just 10 days. He shared a video on his Instagram from behind-the-scenes of the movie. The ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actor can be seen saying sorry to his director Ram Madhvani who was spotted in the video saying ‘I would have finished the whole film in three days’.

Sharing the video, Kartik wrote, “Dus din bhi zyaada lag rahe inhe Inka bas chale toh shoot se live hi release kar de film”.

Speaking about his upcoming movies, Kartik Aaryan has a number of projects in his kitty. He will be seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Shehzada’, ‘Captain India’, ‘Freddy’, Vasan Bala’s untitled superhero movie, Om Raut’s untitled 3D action film and Sameer Vidhwans’ epic musical love saga.
