New Delhi: Vir Das recently shared a video of a close encounter with a snake in the bathroom of his resort. The comedian-actor shared a clip on his official X handle with a note. The video begins with Vir pointing towards the snake to a person who is standing closeby. Vir Das tells him that the snake was stuck.

Vir Das is also seen asking the resort staff if the snake is poisonous. The snake is seen trying to wiggle out of the bathroom. 

Vir captioned the video, "At an eco-resort for the night because we’re shooting nearby. Needed to take a piss. Opened up the bathroom door, stood over the pot, junk out, and before I began…a snake fell from the ceiling directly onto the water tank near the flush handle. Yup. Never peeing again (thumbs up emoji)."

 Fans reaction to Vir Das’ video

Soon after Vir shared the video, his comments thread was filled with comments like, "That’s why I hate such eco places. Leeches, insects, snakes, bats. Ugh!", another wrote, "Yipes! Never going to an eco-resort."

"Hope you're okay because I'm traumatized after reading this," a user wrote. A fan also tweeted, "I think you’re standing at the entrance of the Chamber of Secrets."

Vir Das shared update on Instagram post accident

Following the incident, Vir posted a similar video on Instagram where he gave a glimpse of himself.

"I'm at an eco-resort for the night, a lovely resort, very nice," Vir remarked as he sat on his bed. Then he talked about the day he went to the toilet and encountered the snake. The staff was seen searching the area for the snake in the video as well.  "And now I'll just never go to the toilet again in my life." Vir added.
