To which Shahid expressed concerns about his health and stated, "What you’re saying is a very sad incident, and everyone is concerned. The entire fraternity is quite worried... We hope that Saif’s health is much better now. We were all very shocked by what happened to him in such a personal space. It’s very hard to believe something like this could happen in a city like Mumbai. I am confident that the Mumbai Police is doing everything they can. This doesn’t usually happen here; Mumbai is a very safe city. Here, you can proudly say that if a family member, especially a woman, is out on the street at two or three in the morning, they are safe. This is a very shocking incident, and we all hope that Saif recovers soon. We are always praying for him."

Several other celebrities have reacted to Saif's condition and expressed concern about safety. Earlier, Kartik Aaryan had told Screen, "It is scary, it is sad. This puts everyone in a very vulnerable state. This incident has shocked everyone. I hope he is doing well. I will pray for him and his family. I wish him a speedy recovery.”
