However, following the announcement, many of Hardik Pandya’s fans trolled Natasa. Despite having the comments section of her announcement post turned off, netizens took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to criticise their decision and even left hate comments on Natasa’s other Instagram posts.

One user wrote, “Itne acche insaan ko pehchan nhi paayi" (She couldn’t understand how good he was). Another commented, “He deserves better.” A third comment read, “I hope you overcome this as well. Best wishes go ahead.” Another user added, “Leave her sir, you deserve much better than her.”

The joint statement read, “After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we enjoyed together as we grew a family.”

“We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the center of both our lives, and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,” the statement added. Notably, the two continue to follow each other on Instagram.

Hardik and Natasa's marriage

Former Bigg Boss contestant and dancer Natasa Stankovic married cricketer Hardik Pandya on May 31, 2020. The couple renewed their wedding vows according to Hindu and Christian rituals in February 2023.

Speculations about their separation began in May this year when netizens noticed that Natasa had removed the ‘Pandya’ surname from her Instagram handle. Later, a Reddit post titled “Natasa and Hardik separated?” went viral, catching everyone’s attention by questioning Natasa’s absence from IPL 2024 matches.

Meanwhile, Natasa has seemingly moved back to her hometown, Serbia. On Wednesday, she was spotted at the Mumbai airport with her son, Agastya, carrying bags and avoiding the paparazzi.
