Lekha Washington Makes Her Relationship With Imran Khan Insta Official, Posts Mushy Pic With The Actor

Imran Khan-Lekha Washington: Imran Khan confirmed his relationship with Lekha Washington in March this year and now Lekha has posted a picture with him making their relationship Insta official.

Imran Khan-Lekha Washington: Former Bollywood actor Imran Khan, who separated from his ex-wife Avantika Malik in 2019, is currently dating actor Lekha Washington. Imran confirmed their relationship in March this year and now Lekha has posted a picture with him making their relationship Insta official.

Lekha took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture with Imran without any caption. The photograph captures their silhouettes against the backdrop of the sea and a clear blue sky. They gaze into each other's eyes while embracing closely. This marks the couple's first official post on social media following the confirmation of their relationship. 

There were also reports that the couple has rented a luxurious residence in Bandra and will reportedly be paying a whopping Rs 9 lakh per month for the house that is owned by filmmaker Karan Johar.

Earlier in an interview with Hindustan Times, Imran Khan spoke about her relationship with Lekha and gave the reason why he wanted to hide it. He said, “I have consciously tried to shield this part because of the complications of me divorcing and ending my marriage, which is always something that gets everyone... it's a very goss topic, which then leads to wild speculation”. 

“I was trying to shield from that ugliness and then in the aftermath of that, starting a new relationship. The weird threads that get attached to it...I have really tried to shield that part of my life and my relationship from public scrutiny.” 

Speaking about Lekha he told Hindustan Times, “Lekha has been a tremendously positive and healthy influence in my life as a person, she is caring, supportive, loving to a fault. She has been very helpful. As I've grappled with depression and rebuilding myself, the kind of nurturing and support that I've gotten from her, I don't know that I would have been able to to make this journey without her”. 

Lekha Washington was previously married to journalist Pablo Chaterji, who is the son of the esteemed theatre personality Dhritiman Chaterji.
