Heeramandi Actor Jason Shah Explains Reason For Break Up With Anusha Dandekar: 'Didn’t Really Understand Me'

'Heeramandi' fame Jason Shah said that his break up with Anusha Dandekar was “rushed”.

New Delhi: Actor Jason Shah successfully engaged the viewers with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first OTT series, ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, as his character Alastair Cartwright. On the personal front, the ‘Heeramandi’ actor is known for dating VJ Anusha Dandekar in the past. In a recent interview with ETimes, the actor discussed the same topic and said that their split was “rushed”.

A short romance between Shah and VJ-actress Anusha Dandekar garnered media attention. Jason did not specifically mention Anushka by name and said, “I have had a big spiritual change in my life since then (his last breakup), which has made me wiser,” Jason Shah told ETimes and then added, “It was rushed. I didn’t really think about it. The other person didn’t really understand me and I felt they were trying to make me fit in their box. And that is not going to happen, right?”

He further added, “A huge problem with relationships today, and one of the main reasons for breakups and divorces is that people don't really listen to the other. They're only trying to put forth what they feel. That's the sad part. Only when you listen to what a person says, especially earlier on, that your relationship will last longer.”
