Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, who recently embraced motherhood, shared a video dedicated to her husband, Ranveer Singh. In the lighthearted clip posted on Monday, Deepika offered fans a playful glimpse into her home life, sharing how she waits for Ranveer when he’s running late.

The couple, who became parents to a baby girl on September 8, have been basking in the excitement of their new chapter as a family. Deepika, re-shared a light-hearted Reel that perfectly captured her playful side. The video was titled, "Me when my husband tells me he will be home at 5:00 and it's now 5:01," and it featured an adorable baby running towards the door and peeking outside through binoculars. Ranveer Singh says "Baap ban gaya re" to paps

Ranveer Singh recently stepped out for his first public event following the birth of his daughter, attending a gathering hosted by the Reliance Foundation and Nita Ambani. In a video that has since gone viral, the actor was seen warmly acknowledging the congratulations of paparazzi, folding his hands in gratitude as they cheered for him. Ranveer, clearly overwhelmed with joy, even walked up to the photographers to shake their hands, proudly announcing, “Baap ban gaya re (I’ve become a father).”

Ranveer and his wife, Deepika Padukone, welcomed their baby girl on September 8, sharing the happy news with their fans through an Instagram post. Though they’ve yet to reveal their daughter’s name, the announcement included a heartfelt message: “Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024.”  

The couple, who tied the knot in 2018 in a lavish ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, have been enjoying the joys of parenthood while keeping their personal life mostly private. 

On the work front

On the professional front, Ranveer and Deepika are set to reunite on screen in Rohit Shetty's highly anticipated action film 'Singham Again', alongside Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor.  

Meanwhile, Ranveer is also gearing up for an untitled action thriller directed by Uri fame Aditya Dhar. This project will feature an ensemble cast, including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.
