New Delhi: The absence of Ayesha Takia from Bollywood has not stopped her from captivating her admirers. Ayesha, who starred opposite Salman Khan in ‘Wanted’, has been out of the spotlight for a while, but she's still very much a social media influencer. The actress just shocked her admirers with a new Instagram image in which she seemed "unrecognisable" to several of her followers.

Ayesha Takia posted a photo of herself in a blue and golden traditional saree which she accessorised with a heavy gold necklace. Another component of her new style was her bangs hairstyle that framed her face. The change in her looks was immediately noticed by her admirers, however.

Ayesha Takia's Career

In 2004, Ayesha Takia debuted in a Bollywood film titled 'Taarzan: The Wonder Car'. After that, she had a successful acting career that included roles in several films until she finally called it quits. The last film in which Ayesha appeared was Mod, a love drama. Rannvijay Singh, Raghubir Yadav, Tanvi Azmi, and Anant Mahadevan were all integral parts of the film, which was directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. The film was released on October 14, 2011.

It is evident that Ayesha Takia has no desire to return to the film business. She took a break from acting following her marriage to Farhan Azmi in 2009.
