The property registration papers also gave details about the apartment and its location. Akshay's apartment is in Sky City, developed by Oberoi Reality, which spreads across 25 acres. It is a ready-to-move-in residential project offering 3BHK, 3BHK and studio, and duplex apartments.
Akshay Kumar’s property dealings
As per SquarYards, the deal was registered on Jauary 21, 2025. The apartment was initially bought for ₹2.38 crore in November 2017, was recently sold for Rs. 4.25 crore, showing a 78% appreciation in value.
As per IGR property registration records, besides Akshay Kumar, several Bollywood actors such as Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan own multiple properties in Oberoi Sky City.
As per property registration papers, the apartment has a carpet area of 1073 sq. ft.( 99.71 sq.m) and has two parking spaces. The transaction also has a stamp duty payment of Rs. 35.5 lakh and registration charges of Rs. 30k.
As per Square Yards Data Intelligence, Oberoi Sky City has shown strong market activity, the project has shown robust market performance, with 216 sale registrations recorded between January and December 2024, amounting to a total transaction value of ₹848 crore. The average resale property price for the project is currently ₹39,522 per sq. ft.
