Ajay Devgn's nephew, Aaman Devgan, took to social media to thank his fans and well-wishers for their overwhelming love and support following the release of his debut film, Azaad.
Sharing some rare behind-the-scenes photos from the film, Aaman expressed his heartfelt gratitude in an emotional note. He wrote, “I just want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who has reached out to me with love and support for Azaad in the past few days. Your kind words and messages mean the world to me, and I wish I could personally thank each of you! I am so humbled by it.”
He further added, “Each of you have been an essential part of my journey in making Azaad a special milestone. I will always treasure that. Love you all! Govind, today and forever! #Azaad.”
The post drew attention from Azaad’s director, Abhishek Kapoor, who commented with two red-heart emojis, showing his appreciation.
Although Azaad did not fare well at the box office, the film premiered on Netflix on March 14, giving it a fresh chance to reach a wider audience.
Dedication Behind the Role
Aaman underwent rigorous training to prepare for his role as a village boy in Azaad. His character required him to develop a strong bond with a horse, which led him to invest significant time and effort in understanding the animal.
Sharing details about his preparation, Aaman revealed, “I'm extremely fond of horses, and when I heard the script, I knew in my heart I had to do it. I decided to devote my time understanding Azaad, his moods, and his body language to ensure it looks absolutely real on screen. Before the shoot began, I spent time with Azaad, had my meals with him, and even slept in his stable."
He continued, "I spent over 10 days with him throughout the shoot schedule. I have even cleaned his stool myself to ensure that he is comfortable in my presence and to build a foundation of trust. It was an enriching experience for me, and I learned so much about horses. Apart from horse riding, spending time with Azaad actually helped me perform my scenes effortlessly.”
Rasha Thadani’s Debut
In addition to marking Aaman’s Bollywood debut, Azaad also introduced Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rashe Thadani, to the silver screen.
With his dedication and passion evident both on and off-screen, Aaman Devgan’s journey in Bollywood seems to have just begun.
