Anirudh Ravichander’s Fee For Telugu Films Reportedly Soars To ₹15 Crore

Anirudh Ravichander, known for Jawan and Petta, is reportedly charging ₹15 crore for Telugu films like The Paradise. Composer also becomes selective with projects.

Music sensation Anirudh Ravichander is reportedly revising his remuneration for Telugu-language cinema following a string of blockbuster collaborations. Known for delivering chart-topping hits across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi industries, Anirudh is said to be raising the bar, not just musically, but financially too.

According to a report by Telugu Cinema, the composer, who recently worked on Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, has increased his fee to ₹15 crore for upcoming Telugu films. This move comes after he allegedly charged ₹12 crore for 'The Paradise', a film helmed by director Srikanth Odela and starring actor Nani. While no official statement has been issued by Anirudh or his representatives, the buzz suggests the music director is now opting for fewer but higher-value projects.

'Chikitu' from Coolie Adds to Viral Streak

Anirudh’s latest viral track, “Chikitu,” from the Rajinikanth-starrer 'Coolie', has set social media ablaze. The song, known for its electrifying beats and nostalgic flavour, brings back the superstar’s signature swag. Sharing an anecdote about the experience, Anirudh revealed, “After the 1st day of shoot, he said he liked the song, but it would be difficult for him to dance to it, being his old and rugged style of dancing. When we saw the visuals, we were blown away. After 30-40 years, you can see Rajini sir in local Tapori style.”

The track’s instant success further cements Anirudh’s position as one of India’s most in-demand music directors.

Packed Schedule Across Languages

Currently, Anirudh is juggling several high-profile projects. His lineup includes Jana Nayagan, actor Vijay’s final film before his political plunge, Kingdom with Vijay Deverakonda, Madharasi starring Sivakarthikeyan, Jailer 2 with Rajinikanth, and King featuring Shah Rukh Khan. Despite his growing stardom, sources claim Anirudh plans to become more selective with his Tollywood ventures, focusing on quality over quantity.

A Decade of Dominance in Indian Music

Anirudh shot to fame in 2012 with the viral sensation “Why This Kolaveri Di” from the film 3, a song that skyrocketed his career and garnered over 450 million views on YouTube. His momentum continued with hits like “Selfie Pulla” from Kaththi, which marked his first collaboration with director A.R. Murugadoss and actor Vijay. The album’s success marked a major turning point in Anirudh’s career.

In 2019, he further elevated his profile by composing for Rajinikanth’s Petta, setting the stage for his entry into larger pan-Indian projects. With multiple awards under his belt, including Filmfare, SIIMA, Edison, and Vijay Awards, Anirudh’s music continues to break records and define pop culture in Indian cinema.
