Anant Ambani Ties The Knot With Radhika Merchant In An Extravagant Wedding Ceremony
Anant Ambani finally got hitched to long-time girlfriend Radhika Merchant on July 12 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani finally got hitched to long-time girlfriend Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant on July 12 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The wedding was a star-studded event with luminaries arriving from all over the world. The long list of guests included Bollywood celebrities, politicians, sportspeople and other renowned personalities. However, the festivities are not yet over. The grand wedding is set to span over three days, which began with the Shubh Vivaah (wedding). This will be followed by Shubh Aashirwad (blessing ceremony) on July 13 and Mangal Utsav (wedding reception) on July 14.
Falcon-2000 Jets For Wedding:
For the lavish ceremony, the Ambani family reportedly hired three Falcon-2000 jets to ferry guests to the wedding. Rajan Mehra, CEO of air charter company Club One Air, told news agency Reuters that the Ambanis have hired three of his company's Falcon-2000 jets to ferry wedding guests and he expects 100 plus private planes to be used for the events. "The guests are coming from all over and each aircraft will make multiple trips across the country," Reuters quoted Rajan Mehra as saying.
A detailed advisory on road restrictions for the three days has also been issued by the traffic police in Mumbai.
Food Served At Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Wedding:
The menu at the wedding comprised several mouth-watering chaats, kulfis and more. Varanasi's famous Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar served its fast food delicacies such as tikki, tomato chaat, palak chaat, chana kachori, and kulfi. As per a report by ANI, the menu had been finalised by Reliance Foundation founder and chairman Nita Ambani during a visit to Varanasi last month.
"Nita Ambani came to our chaat bhandaar on June 24, where she tasted tikki chaat, tomato chaat, palak chaat, and kulfi falooda. She was very happy and said that the chaat of Banaras is very famous. It was a pleasure to serve her," shop owner, Rakesh Keshari told ANI.
