New Delhi: Kareena Kapoor Khan is back to work after a long family vacation in London. Recently, one of the pictures from her vacation sparked rumours of her third pregnancy. In the picture, Kareena has a little bloated tummy as she poses in a black tank top with Saif and their friend. The picture went viral in no time with netizens assuming that the actress is pregnant for the third time. Kareena later refuted the rumour through an Instagram story.
Now, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Bebo spoke about it. “That picture was morphed! My tummy looked like that, and I went ‘Oh my God, is it that? Or maybe it’s the wine and pasta, I don’t know!’ I had been on a 40 day vacation, I have no idea, I lost count of how many pizzas I had eaten. That’s it, I had to take it in my stride, and say ‘chill, it’s okay, we are also human beings’,” she was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
When asked why is that the moment a woman puts on weight, people assume she is pregnant, the actor said, “What do you mean ‘is she pregnant? Is she having another baby?’ Am I some machine? Leave the choice to me na!”
Earlier to refute the rumours, Kareena had posted an Instagram story and wrote, “It's the pasta and wine guys.....Calm down.....I am NOT pregnant....Uffffff.....Saif says he has already contributed way too much to the population of our country....Enjoy. KKK"
Meanwhile, Kareena confirmed that she will be starring in film producer Rhea Kapoor's next venture.
Kareena, who has previously collaborated with Rhea on 'Veere Di Wedding', said the upcoming film is "slightly different" from their 2018 movie.
"I am doing a film with Rhea (Kapoor). It is not 'Veere 2' ('Veere Di Wedding'). It is a story about three women. It is going to be slightly different. It's a super cool and fun story," the 41-year-old actor told PTI.
