Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna’s Fundraiser Reaches Goal Rs 1 Crore To Get Oxygen Concentrators

Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna have been actively helping the people during this pandemic. They donated 100 oxygen concentrators to an organisation and also urged the people to contribute towards COVID-19 relief.

Mumbai: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, many celebrities have been extending their helping hands to the people in need during this time of crisis. Either be it sharing COVID-19 relief related information or be it raising funds to help the medical facilities in the country, B’Town celebrities have been reaching out to help the people. This includes Sonu Sood, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Twinkle Khanna and others.

Twinkle Khanna took to her Twitter earlier today and shared that their fundraiser had reached its goal of collecting Rs 1 crore to get oxygen concentrators. The ‘Mela’ actress shared a picture of herself with a note which read, “Thank you! With you help, we have reached our goal – to raise Rs 1 crore to get oxygen concentrators to Indian hospitals.”

While sharing the picture, Twinkle Khanna tweeted, “It’s thanks to all of you that we raised these funds and are able to send concentrators where they are needed. I will keep posting updates. A big shout out to all of you and @annada_outreach for their tremendous support. #helpindiabreathe.”

in another tweet, she also thanked everyone who donated and wrote, “A big thank you to everyone who donated and shared our links. We now have another 100 oxygen concentrators ready to be distributed directly to hospitals.”

Speaking on the professional front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen starring in ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘BellBottom’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Prithviraj’.
