Ajay Devgn Announces ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ Release Date
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film is a sequel to the 2012 hit Son of Sardaar. Devgn, whose most recent release was Azaad earlier this year, took to Instagram on Thursday to share the news with fans.
He posted a new poster from the film with the release date prominently displayed and captioned it: “The Return of the Sardaar) #SOS2 in cinemas near you on 25th July.

The upcoming sequel is produced by Ajay Devgn along with Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja. Actor Vindu Dara Singh will also be part of the film’s cast.

About the Original ‘Son of Sardaar’
The original Son of Sardaar, directed by Ashwni Dhir, starred Ajay Devgn alongside the late Mukul Dev, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonakshi Sinha. The story followed Jaswinder “Jassi” Singh Randhawa (Devgn), who returns to his native village in Punjab from London to sell his ancestral property—only to find himself caught in an unexpected twist of events.
The film 'Son Of Sardaar' was a box office success, grossing Rs 161.48 crore worldwide.
