Abhishek Bachchan, currently enjoying the spotlight after the theatrical run of 'Housefull 5', recently dropped a post that has fans intrigued. On Thursday evening, Abhishek posted a cryptic note on Instagram — a poem that seems to echo themes of solitude and rediscovery.
What Abhishek Bachchan posted
The note read, “Main ek baar lapaata hona chahta hoon, bheed mein khud ko phir se paana chahta hoon. Jo kuch bhi tha sab de diya apno ke liye, ab zara sa waqt bas apne liye chahta hoon (I want to be lost once, I want to find myself in a crowd. Whatever was mine, I gave away for the sake of my own kin. Now I wish to take out some time for my own self)."
Alongside the note, the actor added in the caption, “Kabhi kabhi khud se milne ke liye khud se ‘missing’ hona padta hain.” (“Sometimes to find yourself, you have to go missing.”)

Abhishek Bachchan's new film
While many speculated it was a personal musing, the post is in fact tied to his next project — 'Kaalidhar Laapata', directed by Madhumita and backed by Zee Studios in association with Emmay Entertainment.
Set in the heartland of India, Kaalidhar Laapata follows the story of an elderly man named Kaalidhar (played by Abhishek), who chooses to vanish after discovering his family's plans to cast him aside. As fate would have it, he crosses paths with Ballu, a lively eight-year-old orphan, and the two embark on a heartfelt journey together.
Their spontaneous road trip — guided by a makeshift bucket list — becomes a tale of second chances, rediscovery, and the simple joys of life. The film also features Zeeshan Ayyub and Daivik Bhagela in key roles.
'Kaalidhar Laapata' is set to premiere on ZEE5 on July 4 and promises to deliver a tender story packed with emotion, humour, and introspection.
