Amid rumours surrounding his personal life, actor Abhishek Bachchan has finally spoken out about the ongoing speculation regarding his marriage to actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, the Dasvi actor set the record straight and addressed the swirling rumours that have been making headlines for months.

Abhishek Bachchan talks about wife Aishwarya 

Addressing the speculation head-on, Abhishek said, “I go back home to a happy family." He praised his wife, Aishwarya, for maintaining peace and positivity at home despite public chatter. “One thing is for sure, first my mother (Jaya Bachchan) and now my wife (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), they don’t allow that outside world to come in there,” he added.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2007, have a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. While they have been regarded as one of Bollywood’s most celebrated couples, recent events have led to increased public speculation about their relationship status.

Speaking about how he handles the constant public scrutiny, Abhishek explained, “I have grown up in this film industry, so I also know what to take seriously and what not to take seriously. I don’t get affected by what’s happening on social media.”

Talk of trouble in their marriage gained momentum after the couple was seen attending high-profile events separately — most notably the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Furthermore, fans noted that Abhishek was absent from her red-carpet appearances at Cannes this year, fueling rumours of a rift.

Earlier, megastar Amitabh Bachchan also appeared to weigh in on the matter in a cryptic blog post. Without naming anyone, he wrote, “Speculations are speculations .. they are speculated untruths, without verifications…” He stressed the importance of privacy in family matters and called out those who spread "untruths" under the guise of questioning.

While the rumour mill may continue to churn, Abhishek’s recent statements indicate that he is unfazed and that all is well on the home front.
