Rajasthan Sounded Bugle Against Bad Governance Of Congress: PM Modi In Jaipur

Rajasthan Elections: PM Modi Concludes BJP's Parivartan Sankalp Yatra in the poll-bound state with an address to a rally in Jaipur.

Rajasthan Elections 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (September 25) concluded the Bharatiya Janta Party's parivartan sankalp yatras in the poll-bound state of Rajasthan with an address to a rally in Jaipur. Addressing 'Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha' in the state capital, he said, "The people of Rajasthan have sounded the bugel against the bad governance of Congress. Congress deserves to get zero marks for the way they ran govt here. The people of Rajasthan have decided to remove the Gehlot government and bring back BJP."

Highlighting the achievements of the recently concluded G20 Summit in Delhi, Prime Minister Modi stated, "Countries that are against India are astounded by the success of the G20 Summit." The summit, attended by leaders from around the world, garnered significant attention for its discussions on global issues and cooperation.

Switching gears to the topic of women's empowerment, PM Modi criticised the Congress party, saying, "Congress never had the intention to empower women. The Congress leaders who are talking about women's reservation today could have done it 30 years ago. Congress never wanted to give 33% reservation to women. Today, if they are in favour of women's reservation, then it's not due to their interest in it but under pressure from you (women) all. Congress and its 'Ghamandiya' partners are against reservation for women."

A large number of women attended the event to show their gratitude to the Prime Minister for the smooth passage of women's reservation bill.

PM Modi also stated, "Incidents of paper leak have brought shame to Rajasthan. Congress government is protecting the paper-leak mafia. I assure you that the BJP government will take stringent action against the paper-leak mafia."

Additionally, PM Modi raised concerns about the state's image and its impact on investment, saying, "Who will invest in a state where there is rampant corruption and where incidents of beheading take place openly?"

Addressing the issue of law enforcement, PM Modi remarked, "When the Congress government is being affectionate towards terrorists, instead of taking action against them, and are giving a free hand to the criminals, then how will there be a fear of the law?"

Earlier, Union Minister of Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal had said 42 blocks have been set up at the venue of the rally and each block will be commanded by a woman who will oversee the arrangements there. "PM Modi will arrive at the rally in an open jeep," he told the media, as per PTI.

Union Minister and BJP's election in-charge for Rajasthan Prahlad Joshi oversaw the preparations for the rally in Dadiya village. He claimed people of the state have made up their minds to oust Congress from power in the upcoming assembly polls.

"Our Parivartan Sankalp Yatra received tremendous support with large crowds attending the meetings," the Union Minister was quoted as saying by the agency.

BJP covered all the 200 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan through its four parivartan yatras. According to PTI, the first yatra was launched by party chief JP Nadda from Ranthambore, Sawai Madhopur on September 2. The second yatra was flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah from Beneshwar Dham in Dungarpur on September 3.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched the third yatra from Ramdevra in Jaisalmer on September 4, and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari launched the last and fourth yatra from Gotamedi, Hanumangarh on September 5.
