'False Promises Not In BJP's Dictionary': MoS Prahlad Patel Files Nomination From Narsingpur For MP Polls
Union minister and BJP leader Prahlad Patel filed his nomination from Narsinghpur seat for the Madhya Pradesh polls.
Union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Prahlad Patel on Wedenesday filed his nomination from the Narsingpur seat for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Legislative elections. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan accompanied the BJP leader during his nomination filing. The last date for filing nominations for the polls to 230-member Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly will end on October 30 and the same will be scrutinised the next day. Candidates will have the option to withdraw their candidature till November 2.
The polls will be held in single phase in the central state on November 17.
After filing the nomination, Patel said, "Development means all the facilities that are considered at the top, are available to the common people without having to ask for them."

"Modi government has done this. We did better than we had promised. False promises are not in BJP's dictionary, they are in Congress's dictionary. It is unfortunate that Congress leaders attack our heritage constantly," he added.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan who accompanied Patel said, "Today, I am filled with pride and joy that my dear friend Prahlad Singh Patel is contesting the (Madhya Pradesh Assembly) elections from Narsinghpur. I am confident that he will win by record number of votes."
On Monday the BJP leader asked the voters to not fall for false promises by Congress and rather trust his party, claiminig that the saffron party does what it says.
The ruling saffron party has fielded five Parliamentarians including three cabinet ministers for the polls in a bid to boost its electoral fortunes at securing a second term in the office.
Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar has been given a ticket by the party from the Dimani constituency, while Pralhad Patel and Faggan Singh Kulaste have been nominated to represent the saffron party in a move to bolster its prospects in the electoral battle.
