Lok Sabha Polls Phase 6: 889 Candidates Look To 11 Crore Voters For Entry To Lower House

The sixth phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections began at 7 AM on Saturday, May 25. This is one of the most interesting phases since it's a highlight of the unlikely alliance between once-arch rivals — the AAP and the Congress. All seven seats of Delhi are going to polls on Saturday. While three seats — Chandni Chowk, North West Delhi, North East Delhi — are being contested by the Congress for the I.N.D.I.A bloc — the rest — New Delhi, West Delhi, East Delhi, and South Delhi — are being defended by its partner AAP against the BJP.
AAP MP Raghav Chadha earlier said AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will vote for the Congress candidate, while Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will vote for the AAP candidate.
Four Union ministers — Dharmendra Pradhan, Rao Inderjit Singh, Krishan Pal, Subhas Sarkar — are in the fray.
