Former Congress leader and Uddhav Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi brought up the Bajrang Bali issue, saying that even Bajrang Bali had a "thumbs down" on "Modiji's campaign in Karnataka".
"So as per result trends in Karnataka: Bajrang Bali ki Jai, Bhajpa ki haar hai tay," Priyanka Chaturvedi wrote. "Even Bajrang Bali has given a thumbs down to Modi ji’s campaign in Karnataka. Media may show the face of JP Nadda ji or CM Bommai ji as losers but it is PM Modi’s loss since he made the entire campaign about himself," the MP wrote.

After the counting began at 8 am, Congress emerged victorious with 135 seats. The BJP has 65 seats, Janata Dal (Secular) has 20, Independents, have four, and Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha and Sarvodaya Karnataka Paksha each have one.
The Congress promised a ban on Bajrang Dal, the RSS's youth wing, in its election manifesto. This sparked outrage, with the BJP calling it an insult to Lord Hanuman. The Congress charged the BJP with confusing Bajrang Dal with Bajrang Bali.
During his rally, PM Modi urged Karnataka voters to chant 'Bajrang Bali ki jai' before casting their ballots.
With the trends pointing to a Congress victory, Congress leader Kamal Nath stated that Congress will form the government and that the BJP will try to reach an agreement with MLAs from other parties and independent candidates. As the Congress attributes the expected victory to Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, spokesperson Supriya Shrinate wrote, "Nafrat ke iss bazar mein Mohabbat ki dukar khul rahi hai".
