Himanta Biswa Sarma Hits Back At Congress, AAP Over Opposition's 'Washing Machine' Claim

Himanta Biswa hit back at the opposition over their "washing machine" claim saying that the Congress criticised the Delhi CM for looting money a few month ago, but now they call him a good man.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa on Friday hit back at the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party over their "washing machine" claim questioning which "high-voltage washing machine did they use to wash off the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal." He said that a few months ago Congress was criticising the AAP supremo saying that he has looted money through alcohol, but they have now changed their claims saying that Arvind Kejriwal is a good man.

Biswa shared a video and wrote on X, "The Congress party had criticised Arvind Kejriwal by accusing him of corruption some months ago, claiming he made money through alcohol, but now they're saying he's a good person. Now tell me, what kind of high-voltage washing machine do they have?"

On Priyanka Gandhi's allegations regarding the practice of mafia in Assam, Biswa said: "People from the royal family of Congress should not speak about the mafia raj. Perhaps they have forgotten what was happening in Assam under their rule - mafia, guns, smuggling."

Stressing that there is no mafia practice in the state, the Assam CM said that there are no bomb blasts, no bullet firing, no ULFA in the state. He further trained guns at Priyanka Gandhi that she did not mention the murder of Rhinos, lungi, and dhoti, adding that these words of Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi don't work in Assam.

Amit Shah Rubbishes Oppn's 'Washing Machine' Claim Against BJP

Union Home Minister Amit Shah in an exculsive interview with ABP News, rubbished opposition's "washing machine" claims against BJP saying, "This means that your clothes are dirty and no one is clean, the public knows everything... Not a single BJP government has made any attempt to save anyone from the law."

On being asked about former Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan, accused of corruption in the alleged Adarsh Housing scam, Shah said that it was a decision of the local party unit and stressed that none of the cases have been dropped against anyone joining the saffron camp.
