How Many Seats Will Chirag Paswan's LJP Get In Bihar Elections? Party Chief Says 'I Am Aiming For...'
Bihar Election 2025: LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan is aiming for a 100% strike rate in the upcoming Bihar elections, focusing on winning all allotted seats.

LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan, in an exclusive interaction with ABP's Megha Prasad, said that his party is well poised to win every seat it contests in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The Bihar elections will be held in a few months and Chirag Paswan is among the top four leaders on whom the state's eyes are fixed; the others being RJD's Tejashwi Yadav, Jan Suraaj Party's Prashant Kishor, and JD(U) and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Chirag Paswan said his aim is not to get as many seats as possible within the NDA folds, but rather to win all the seats that are allotted to the Lok Janshakti Party-Ram Vilas. But how many seats will he get with the NDA?
Going by source-based reports, the non-BJP non-JD(U) partners in the NDA would be left with around 40 seats. Chirag will want to contest at least 25 of these. The party fought on 135 seats, winning just one in the 2020 assembly elections.
Chirag Paswan said a meeting will be held very soon on the number of seats the party will contest. "The focus will be on 100% strike rate, not on the number of seats," he said.
Chirag Paswan Wants To Fight Bihar Elections
Chirag Paswan further said he wants to fight the Bihar assembly election. He said he has conveyed to the party that he wants to fight the polls and a survey is being conducted to gauge the state's mood on the matter.
He, however, stopped short of revealing which seat he is eyeing.
