Latest trends reveal that TMC is leading in as many as 216 out of 292 Assembly seats of West Bengal, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 75.

West Bengal Election Results: Soon after it was clear that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is all set for a second term in West Bengal after a spectacular win in 2021 Assembly Elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday evening extended his wishes to the Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo.

According to latest trends, ruling TMC is set to retain power in the keenly-watched state of West Bengal as the counting of votes for the assembly polls in four states and a union territory was taken up at a time when the country is grappling with a raging COVID pandemic.
