UGC NET 2020: NTA Releases Subject Wise Datasheet, Admit Cards For September Exam To Be Available Soon; Check Direct Link

The date sheet for the UGC NET 2020 exams is now available on the official website. The official notification says that admit cards for the examination to be held on 24.09.2020 and 25.09.2020 will also be released soon. Students can check the direct link here.

UGC NET 2020: The  National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the is likely to release, subject-wise and shift-wise schedule for the upcoming UGC NET exam soon. The datasheet is available on the official website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The exam which was supposed to take place on September 16,  was postponed to September 24. Direct link- https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/WebInfo/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=687&iii=Y The exam will take place in two shifts from 9 AM to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. The official notification says that the Admit Cards for the examination to be held on 24.09.2020 and 25.09.2020 have also been released and the download link will be activated soon. The exams which will begin from September will continue toll 5th November. The notification does not have details on Covid 19 safety protocols. ALSO READ| Karnataka Govt Allows Schools, Pre-University Colleges To Reopen From Sept 21 As Per Unlock 4 Norms The decision to postpone the exams was taken as the date for UGC NET clashed with ICAR Examination AIEEA-UG/PG and AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) 2020-21. The NTA said in an official notification that rescheduling was 'due to some common candidates in both exams and the requests received thereof.' UGC NET 2020 exams will be conducted by NTA in 81 subjects at different Exam Centers across India to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor only in various Indian Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions recognized by UGC. The exam will comprise two papers Paper I and II containing multiple-choice questions (MCQs). While Paper I which is on teaching and research aptitude is common and mandatory for all candidates, Paper-II will be on the subject selected by the candidate. Both papers have to be completed within 3 hours. The NTA has not announced any changes to the exam pattern.
