NVS Admissions 2024: Class 9, 11, Lateral Entry Registration Deadline Extended Till November 7

The NVS Written Exam 2024 for Class 9, 11, lateral entry admissions will be conducted on February 10, 2024.

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the registration deadline for NVS Lateral Entry Admissions 2024 into Classes 9 and 11. Interested candidates who missed out on submitting their application forms for NVS Lateral Entry Admissions 2024 earlier, can submit their applications till November 7, 2023. The online applications for nVS Admissions 2023 are to be submitted on the official website - navodaya.gov.in. As per the previous schedule, the application process for NVS Lateral Entry Admissions to Class 9 and Class 11 was supposed to close today, October 31, 2023. 

While the NVS earlier conducted lateral entry admissions for Class 9 only, from this onwards though, it will be conducting lateral entry admissions for Class 11 as well. The shortlisting of candidates for admissions shall be done through a written exam. As scheduled, the written exam for NVS Lateral Entry Admissions 2024 into Class 9 and 11 shall be conducted on February 10, 2024. The NVS Written Exam will be conducted in the offline mode, and the exam duration shall be of two hours and thirty minutes. 

To apply for lateral entry NVS Admissions 2024 in Class 9, applicants must be enrolled in Class 8 in the academic year 2023-24, at one of the district’s government-recognised schools in the district where the Navodaya Vidyalaya is located. For NVS Class 11 lateral entry admissions 2024, candidates must be enrolled in Class 10 in the academic year 2023-24  at one of the district’s government-recognised schools in the district where the Navodaya Vidyalaya is located. Moreover, applicants should also be aged between 15 to 17 years of age.

• Register online and generate User ID and Password
• Login and fill in the application form with all required details
• Upload relevant documents
• Pay the application fee and submit the form
