NTA Postpones CUET At 53 Centres On August 6 — Check New Dates, Details

Candidates can also change their dates, in case a certain date doesn't work for them. Meanwhile, they are advised to keep a tab on the NTA websites.

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has postponed the Common University Entrance Test, CUET, scheduled for Saturday, August 6 at 53 centres due to “administrative/logistics/technical” reasons. In a notice, NTA informed that all the exams which were scheduled for August 6, will now be held between August 12 and 14. 

"The postponed exam will be held between August 12 to 14, and the same admit card shall be valid," the NTA notification mentioned.

The testing agency further said that all the candidates have been informed, via email, SMS of their registered number and email ID. Candidates also get a chance to pick their desired date in case they mention the date doesn’t work for them.  

"In case, the above date is not suitable, the candidates can send an email to datechange@nta.ac.in mentioning their desired date and roll number," it added.

Weighing in on this, some students also claimed to have received communication from the NTA late night, telling them that their exam scheduled for Saturday had been postponed due to “administrative and logistical reasons”, PTI reported.

CUET UG 2022 exam has been postponed at 50 centres across the country on day 2, August 5. The exam held in the first shift was postponed at 20 centres and in the second shift at 30 centres across the country. 

A senior NTA official said technical issues were reported at some centres, following which reports were sought from observers and city coordinators on the ground. Based on their recommendations, a decision to postpone the exam was taken, the official told PTI. 

However, candidates are advised to be in touch with the NTA websites – nta.ac.in and cuet.samarth.ac.in for the latest updates regarding the examination.
