NEET UG 2024 Counselling To Start From August 14, Check Schedule Here

NEET UG 2024 Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET UG 2024 counselling schedule. Students can the schedule from the official website at mcc.nic.in. The counselling process is tentatively set to begin on August 14, 2024. Registrations for the MCC NEET UG counselling will begin in the first week of August, allowing candidates to secure seats under the 15% All India Quota.

"It is hereby informed that the NEET UG Counselling for the academic session 2024 is expected to commence tentatively from 14th of August 2024. However, the registration process for the counselling may begin in the first week of August. The candidates are advised to keep in touch with the MCC website regarding updates on schedule and further process of Counselling," said MCC in an official notice.

The MCC will conduct the NEET UG counselling in three rounds, followed by a stray vacancy round. Registration will be open for the three main rounds, while the stray vacancy round will be exclusively for candidates who have already registered. The tentative seat matrix will be verified from August 14 to August 16, 2024.

NEET UG 2024 Counselling Schedule

Here is the detailed schedule for the NEET UG 2024 counselling:

• Verification of Tentative Seat Matrix: August 14 to August 16, 2024
• Registration/Payment: August 14, 2024, to August 21, 2024, until 12:00 noon (Server Time). The payment facility will be available until 3:00 PM on August 21, 2024.
• Choice Filling/Locking: August 16, 2024, to August 20, 2024, until 11:55 PM (Server Time). Choice Locking will be available from 4:00 PM on August 20, 2024, until 11:55 PM of the same day.
• Processing of Seat Allotment: August 21, 2024, to August 22, 2024
• Result Announcement: August 23, 2024
• Reporting/Joining: August 24, 2024, to August 29, 2024
• Verification of Joined Candidates Data by Institutes and Sharing of Data by MCC: August 30 to August 31, 2024

This year, 24,06,079 students registered for the NEET UG examinations, with 23,33,297 students appearing for the exam, which was conducted on May 5, 2024. The NEET UG results were announced on June 4, 2024. Following this, a retest was held on June 23, 2024, and the results were announced on June 30, 2024. The final result of NEET UG was released on July 26, 2024.
