The Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment exam is currently being conducted across 1,174 centers in 67 districts. On the third day of the exam, which took place on Sunday, senior administrative officials visited various exam centers to review the arrangements in place. The exams, held under tight security to ensure fairness, began on Friday and will continue through August 31. According to the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), the exams are scheduled in two shifts over five days: August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31.

This fresh recruitment drive, aimed at filling over 60,000 vacancies, was launched after the initial exams slated for February 17 and 18 were canceled due to allegations of a paper leak. To support the candidates, the Uttar Pradesh State Transport Corporation is offering free bus services, including complimentary rides on electric buses in several districts.
