UGC NET Admit Card for exams up to August 30 released on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC NET Admit Card 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET admit cards for exams up to August 30. Those who will appear in exams on August 27, 28, 29 and 30 can check and download their admit cards from the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. For the September 2, 3 and 4 examinations, hall tickets will be released later. Candidates can check and download the admit card by logging in with their application number and date of birth.

UGC NET Admit Card 2024: Steps To Download 

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, "UGC NET June 2024 : Click Here to Download Admit Card for 21st to 30th August 2024 Exam".

Step 3: A new page will open, now enter your application number and date of birth.

Step 4: UGC NET Admit Card 2024 will appear on your screen.

Step 5: Check and download the admit card. 

If any candidate experiences difficulty in downloading or checking the Examination City Intimation Slip for UGC-NET June 2024, they can contact the NTA at 011-40759000 or via email at ugcnet@nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET re-examination will be conducted for 83 subjects, including Hindi, English, Kannada, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Arabic, Linguistics, Nepali, Marathi, Telugu, Urdu, Chinese, Dogri, Manipuri, Assamese, Gujarati, Persian, French, Spanish, Russian, Rajasthani, Library and Information Science, Mass Communication and Journalism.

UGC-NET is a Test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges. The UGC-NET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT).

Awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET. The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professorship are not eligible to be considered for the award of JRF.

Candidates who qualify the eligibility test for Assistant Professorship are governed by the rules and regulations of the concerned Universities/Colleges/State Governments, as the case may be for recruitment of Assistant Professor.
